Open Day
WEDC held an open day on 5 July 2011, as part of our 40th anniversary celebrations.
Aims of the day were to:
- Showcase WEDC expertise as a leading education and research institute developing knowledge and capacity in water and sanitation for low and middle income countries
- Communicate recent innovations in our work
- Provide an insight to student life in Loughborough
We were delighted to welcome more than 100 people who took advantage of the opportunity to interact with WEDC staff and those with an interest in water and sanitation service provision in low and middle income countries.
